  • Consider additional diagnostics (MRI cerebrum) depending on the situation and condition of the child.

  • If intracranial pressure is elevated, consider dexamethasone.
  • Consider relieving lumbar puncture to reduce symptoms, and referral to neurosurgeon if elevated intracranial pressure persists.
